Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was born on November 11, 1974, in Los Angeles, California. DiCaprio father George DiCaprio was a former comics book artist while his mother Irmelin DiCarprio, was a legal secretary. His parents separated when he was just one and he spent his childhood with his mother.
DiCaprio attended the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies for four years and later went to Seeds Elementary School (now UCLA Lab School) and John Marshall High School a few blocks away.
