Rapper Mac Miller, 26, was found dead on Friday of an apparent overdose, TMZ has confirmed. He was reportedly found in his San Fernando Valley home around noon on Friday and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Miller, born Malcolm James McCormick, was recently charged with a DUI after crashing his G-Wagon into a power pole in San Fernando Valley this May. Shortly after the crash, ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande posted a statement about their former relationship, “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years.” She added, “Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was.”
His most recent album, “Swimming” was just released on August 3 and he was supposed to start tour next month.
